Griggs Park: In the heart of State Thomas / Uptown, this is a go-to for us young adults. By day it's full of dogs and proud fur parents. By night and on the weekends it hosts some of Uptown's most popular events ** Movie in the park is by far my favorite Uptown-led event
White Rock Lake: Located 5 miles from Downtown with a 9.3 mile trail around the lake offering beautiful scenery and views of sailing and rowing **For the fellow half marathoners (or full) the best training spot time and time again
Dallas Trolley (M-Line): A free service running 7 days a week through Uptown, Downtown, and the Arts District
Katy Trail: Possibly Dallas most popular spot. A 3.5 mile trail that runs parallel to the city from Victory Park, through the Harwood District, Uptown, West Village, Knox-Henderson, and into Highland Park. It's used for exercise, socializing, and even getting to and from restaurants and apartments.
The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden: 66 acres of vibrant gardens and history along White Rock Lake ** My grandmas favorite spot
Bishop Arts District: Local boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, fitness studios, and art galleries that give small town charm just outside the big city
West Village & Knox Street: walkable, trendy, and filled with restaurants, shopping, bars, coffee shops and more making it a locals favorite place to not only live but also to hang out.
Highland Park Village: Luxury shopping and high end dining in an open-air setting with a historic and charming Texas feel
Dos Equis Pavilion: an outdoor amphitheater hosting a variety of musicians making the perfect location for a summer country concert.
